It is the very early for a highlight reel, but I still think it is worth a share!
North Carolina at Arkansas 1984
Просмотров 19 тыс.11 лет назад
This is the game that will live forever in my memory. Valentines Day in 1984, Arkansas on less than 24 hours rest beats the number one team in the country, led by Michael Jordan and Sam Perkins in Pine Bluff because Dean Smith wouldn't agree to come to Barnhill Arena!

Joe Adams 92 yard Touchdown Beats Auburn 2011
Love it.
Can someone update this video for the quality
Why is this video so grainy? The game wasn't that long ago, but this looks like video from the early 1970's quality wise.
85 got some wheels
I could not stand Al McGuire as a basketball commentator with his close-minded viewpoints on how the game 'should' be played, nor his incessant fawning over players from 'establishment' programs like Kentucky, Indiana, UCLA and of course, North Carolina. For all his game long Tarheel cheerleading, he deserved every ounce of raw egg Arkansas left on his face after they pulled off this monumental upset.
Bad a**
That jump block was crazy
look like when he hurdle his own teammate he went supersonic, not even the ref could keep up
When Arkansas was still relevant.
Rip big #15❤️
Arm was golden. RIP RM
One of the best things about re-living these moments from that era of Razorback football is how on-point the band seemed to be in the TV coverage. When big moments happened during the Petrino era, the band immediately reacted with the fight song that just enhanced how important remarkable these moments like Joe's punt return were.
Yeah, I was in the band during the 2012 John L Smith season after Petrino got fired. Lmaoo it sucked.
RIP Ryan Mallett
I was @ that game WPS4LIFE RIP RYAN MALLET
LSU fan here, I remember this play as a little kid May Ryan Mallet rest in peace
That brother is fast. THE JET
How special a football player, gifted.
McGuire trying to will that last shot in from Carolina. Shouting "its good" before the ball even reaches the rim. The basketball elites were shocked to their core that their blue blood favorite team could actually lose to Arkansas. And in Pine Bluff at that😂
On the honey badger too
"AND SECRETARIAT'S RECORD STILL STANDS!"
We need some more boys like him.Been awhile.Go Hog's!
I was there. Great game atmosphere, it was electric.
Man it was fun to be relevant 🐗🏈🐗
I saw two blocks in the back or very close, definitely questionable.
Back when Georgia was human. Go Hogs!
Ice Box was going to win this if he had a better trip! That finishing kick was lightning! Crazy how 1 bad trip and 1 good trip can change the course of your career in horse racing!
I was graduating from Central High in Little Rock that year and Michael Jordan and his team practiced in our gym they thought 🤔 it was gonna be easy
maaannn, joe adams was lightning in a bottle! Look out! fade out on gus.. lol
Whats sad is atleast two of those amazing blocks would be considered blind side blocks nowdays.
I was there and this video captured the energy of that day and that game! Great job, thank you!
The biggest thing I remember from that game was the experts before the game saying the stronger team would win and that was Kansas State
So amazing!
As A USC Fan I Gotta Give Yall Credit For The Hog Calls And After Seeing The Movie Greater Was Very Sad So God Continue To Bless Much Love and Respect
maui five-o
Good video.
Dude had Ted Ginn Jr speed
3:40, Todd Pletcher cheering and then "Haha" by the announcer, legendary. 05-10-2022, 6:30AM
Great win for the Hogs! The NC shooter sure had a great look at the end! We Won! Al Mcguirre missed that one!
And they beat Micheal Jordan, quite the upset !

McQuire, Sutton, Smith, Enberg all are gone. 38 years ago they all looked fairly young. This was played in Spring of my senior year at Arkansas. Time flies. Sutton coached one more season after this at Arkansas then left for KY. I loved Sutton. Good man. Remember him showing me, Barry Thomas and Mark Calcagni the SWC Championship rings in a case before he handed them out to the team in '83.
Pine Bluff Convention Center. What an odd place to hold this game. Barton Coliseum existed in 1984...they could have totally had the game there. I think Pine Bluff had a nicer facility at the time than Little Rock did.
I counted seven blocks
Back when we were relevant. (Sigh)
Soon, very soon!! Pittman is building a monster!
nwa s;
It WAS GOOOOOD!......if you're a Hawg fan. SOOO!.....SOOOO!...GOOD! GO HAWGS!
why is this playing on 1.25x?
JOE THE JET ADAMS. KNEW IS FATHER
This game should be taught as Arkansas History in high schools.
